The first day we had hoped to see Mt. St. Helens. However, the weather was very wet and the clouds were at about 500 feet. We drove up the road to a view point, but there was nothing but clouds. So we traveled on to Longview. This turned out to be a newly discovered treasure. First we checked into the hotel which said they had overbooked and they had to put us in the "executive suite"! Then we drove around town and found a charming community which includes the worlds only squirrel skybridge so the little guys don't get run over by the cars!

If you look closely there is a tiny suspension structure in the middle of the bridge.
